At the end of June, Facebook once again changed the algorithm that determines what posts you see in your News Feed. You might have noticed this change already, with more posts from friends, family, and people you regularly connect with on the social network becoming more prominently displayed over posts from other media outlets.

Why the change? According to Facebook:

Facebook was built on the idea of connecting people with their friends and family. As we say in our News Feed values, that is still the driving principle of News Feed today. Our top priority is keeping you connected to the people, places and things you want to be connected to — starting with the people you are friends with on Facebook. That’s why today, we’re announcing an upcoming change to News Feed ranking to help make sure you don’t miss stories from your friends.

Based on the statement above, the change is understood. Facebook wants to keep you connected to the individuals who mean the most to you. However, this change makes it even more difficult for you to get the latest news from your favorite publishers in your News Feed.

Fear not: you can still get all the latest updates from Martindale-Hubbell in your News Feed by following these simple steps
